Quick guide to use of road maps of Andalucia!

Once you have clicked on the desired destination road map, you can use the map toolbar and icons at the top to do the following procedures:

• zooming in using the + icon

• zooming out using the – icon

• centering the map on any given point by clicking on it

• locating a street or road by name by clicking on “search”

• printing maps for later use

• viewing all maps of Andalucia by clicking on the “house” icon

Under the “help” button you will find extensive information and guidelines for further use of the maps of Andalucia.

A place that you surely should not miss when visiting southern Spain. As stunning as ever, this amazing city still keeps attracting travelers from around the globe to it´s famous moorish dynasty monuments, the Alambra, the Royal Palace and the Alcazaba.

The elevated area of Granada know as sacromonte, literally “the sacred mountain”, has been the birthplace of many of the greatest flamenco dancers, singers and guitar players, and is particularly know for its cave house scenario.

Another famous part of the city worthwhile a visit is the Albaizin, the Arab quarter of the town. It´s narrow and hilly streets offers a large variety of shoppping oportunities wether you are looking for moorish carpets, pottery, handcrafts and leather goods – and should you like to buy a real
handmade Spanish Guitar or maybe a handcarved chessboard, then this is certainly the right place to shop around. In the Alabizin quarter you will find a number of restaurants from different parts of the globe and the prices are very reasonable.

Don´t miss the oportunity to sit down and enjoy a pot of tea accompanied with some delicious maroccan pastry in one of the many cosy teahouses or “teterias” for a relaxing experience, a friendly conversation and probably even a good laugh.
