A stroll through the white washed streets with their nooks and crannies, the patios, the hermitages… the village conserves the tranquillity and enchantment of the past, sheltered by the mountain range and looking out towards the countryside and the sea.

There are various interesting monuments such as the Bull-ring, different from all others due to its original oval shape. There are also two mudejar style churches: the ParishChurch, built on the ruins of an old

mosque and castle between the years 1541-65, and the San Sebastian Shrine built at the end of the XVII century.

Another interesting point is the Shrine of the Virgen de la Peña (Virgin of the Rock), Patron Saint of the Town, excavated in a rock around the year 1682.
